As an acupuncturist, I aim to provide safe and effective treatments to help you and your body return to a harmonious state of health, balance and well being. When the energies of the mind, body and spirit are balanced, we are in good health. Health resides within each of us. Please allow me to help you restore this harmony so you can enjoy life to it's fullest!
I compassionately treat people in all stages of life with my primary focus being maternity care. I am deeply fascinated by the incredible power women have in creating and birthing new life and families. Becoming a mother is deeply transformative and has blossomed my desire to reach out into the community combining my skills as an acupuncturist and those as a Doula (providing physical and emotional support during labour) to help women achieve a joyful and empowering pregnancy and birth. I find working with childbearing women deeply rewarding and am especially passionate about assisting women during labour.
Beyond my strong foundation of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and specialized training in Pregnancy and Childbirth, I have also completed a course in Auricular therapy (Ear Acupuncture). This form of acupuncture treats the whole physical and emotional body solely on the ear. Ear acupuncture is extremely effective and I have found it to be very safe and convenient for women in all stages of their pregnancy including labour as it allows for freedom of movement while helping with pain management and in regulating contractions.
