Satomi Yoneda graduated from the 4 year Traditional
Chinese Medicine Practitioner program at the International
College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. She
is registered as a Traditional Chinese Medicine
Practitioner (registered acupuncturist and herbalist) with
the Collage of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners
and Acupuncturists of British Columbia.
Her interest in healing and how to promote people’s
well-being started early in her life. She has studied
Early Childhood Education and explored many healing
modalities before and during her
Traditional Chinese Medicine training.
She believes in treating the whole person - body, mind and spirit.
Satomi takes a strong interest in helping people get
emotionally healthy, because she believes emotional
imbalances (e.g. worry, anger, sadness, and fear) for a
prolonged period of time are major factors in the cause of
disease and suffering, and that healthier emotions
enrich and empower people.
She is also interested in women’s health and helping
new moms.
In her practice, she incorporates acupuncture/moxibustion,
acupressure, and/or herbal medicine depending on each
person’s individual condition.
